Morgan Garris

My name is Morgan Garris from Elkmont High School in Elkmont, Alabama. I am currently enrolled in Cosmetology here at the Limestone County Career Technical Center. I am also representing the state of Alabama as the SkillsUSA High School Secretary for the 2012-13 school year.

Some of my duties include going to Washington D.C. to speak to our Congressmen. I also got the opportunity to attend the Champion of the Year Dinner in which SkillsUSA honored the CEO of Snap-On. I will also be running the Joint Development Leadership Conference, Local Officer Training Conference, and the SkillsUSA Alabama Skills Championship. This will be a very enriching experience. I am very thankful for all of the opportunities I have been given and can’t wait to see where this will take me.
