  • Received Bachelor of Science degree from University of North Alabama in 1993 in Biology/Chemistry.

  • Received Master of Arts in Education degree from University of North Alabama in 1997 in Comprehensive Science Education (Grades 4-12).

  • Received Certification in Gifted/Talented Education from University of South Alabama.


  • Taught genetics, chemistry, and physics at West Limestone High School.
  • Taught 7th/8th grade Math/Algebra at Clements High School.
  • Taught Skills Lab for High School Graduation Exam Remediation (Math/Science) during Summer School session (2001).
  • High School Gifted Education Instructor for Limestone County Schools since 2001.
  • FIRST Robotics Team 34 Rockets Coach / Mentor since 2004.





I have two sons, Caleb and Carson. I am the Coach / Sponsor / Education Mentor for Limestone County Career Technical Center's FIRST Robotics Team, Team 34 -- The Rockets. After school hours (evenings, weekends, summers), I tutor students for the ACT and assist with their College Planning and Application Process  (scholarships, resumes, application essays, etc...).
