In the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program, students build foundational knowledge to prepare them for a variety of careers in the HVACR industry. Our program works with industry professionals to prepare students for the workforce or post secondary education.
EPA 608 is an industry recognized certification that
is required for HVACR technicians.
Calhoun Community College Dual Enrollment
Students will have opportunities to complete classes
through Calhoun Community College that credit toward
an HVACR Associates Degree. Classes are typically
free to Limestone County CTC students. Students are
required to maintain a 2.5 GPA to participate.
HVACR students are active members in SkillsUSA. SkillsUSA is a co-curricular, career technical student organization.
Students will have opportunities to learn employability skills through leadership training, community service,
and local, district, state, and national competitions.
