JES Parents and Staff: Due to Limestone County being under a tornado watch and the possibility of storms during the time of our program, we are canceling tonight’s event. The program will be rescheduled for a later date when we return from Christmas Break. Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.

Our JES Beta Club held a food drive for our families in need of food for Thanksgiving. We currently have about 15 Thanksgiving meal boxes left. If you or someone you know needs one, please come by the front office of the school before the end of the day. We will distribute them until they are all gone. First come, first served. Happy Thanksgiving!

False Alarm: I apologize for the delayed start to carline and unloading of buses this morning. We had a sensor in the gym to go off. Before allowing students in the building the Director of maintenance and the fire department both came to assess. It was simply a faulty alarm. Everyone is safe and we have begun our school day!

On Monday, JES will be honoring our Veterans with a program beginning at 9:00 am. Each class will perform a special song for our Veterans. In addition to the class performance, the following students have chosen to participate in a special performance. šŸŽ‰ We have some wonderful news for the holiday season! šŸŽ„ Our art students at JES will be contributing to a beautiful tree in the Athens-Limestone County Tinsel Trail! 🌟 They’re crafting unique ornaments from recyclable materials like empty soup cans, water bottles, and pool noodles. If you'd like to help, please send these items with your child or drop them off at the front office this week. Thank you for your support!
